Cipriano Castulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Castulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Lamberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Lamberto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Cipriano Castulo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 20 minutes, Fabio Henry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SSC Napoli and the Ranchos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 23 minutes, Ambrosio Gonsalvo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ariel Elequemedo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cipriano Castulo to make any attempt to save it. Felipe Lamberto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cipriano Castulo came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Lamberto slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 40th minute. Ariel Elequemedo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cipriano Castulo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSC Napoli. After a rather tough play, SSC Napoli's Ariel Elequemedo got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Constantino Oihenarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Abar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ariel Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Castulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Elequemedo in the 54th minute of the match. Felipe Lamberto succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Abar in the 82nd minute of play forced SSC Napoli's goalkeeper Tom Du Sausois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Gonsalvo got free with Tom Du Sausois in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
