An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Iban in the 22nd minute of play forced Cochangasta AFC's goalkeeper Celedonio Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Aristides Eguzki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Eguzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Iban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Laurendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Eguzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Armando Cordeal fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cochangasta AFC's protests and gave Armando Cordeal a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Cochangasta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Cordeal. With a little luck, Cantona FC's Baldomero Orlandus got control of the ball when Osvaldo Handi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aristides Eguzki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celedonio Laurendi having to make a save. Celedonio Laurendi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Iban went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cantona FC fully deserved thier win.
