Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Cantona FC's Leopoldo Iban started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Aristides Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Espinillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Eguzki came free, but Daniel Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cantona FC's zone, Ismael Berart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Orlandus came out of the goal and Ismael Berart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Eguzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Leonardo Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Espinillo AFC booed when Cantona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Ponc didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aristides Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Cantona FC's Leopoldo Iban in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espinillo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When Herminio Jayvier fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espinillo AFC's protests and gave Herminio Jayvier a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Espinillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Jayvier. Daniel Quintyn came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Cantona FC's Leopoldo Iban. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Iban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Leonardo Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cantona FC's Aristides Eguzki got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Leopoldo Iban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cantona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Iban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Quintyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Leopoldo Iban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Berart in the 45th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Berart in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Orlandus saved Cantona FC from getting behind. Baldomero Orlandus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Berart was the one to do the kick off. Baldomero Orlandus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Eguzki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Daniel Quintyn made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Benino during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Leonardo Mero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espinillo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Aristides Eguzki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Quintyn having to make a save. Leopoldo Iban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristides Eguzki struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Daniel Quintyn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cantona FC. Leopoldo Iban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Quintyn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Espinillo AFC! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Cantona FC. Salvador Juvenal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Quintyn. 1-2. In the 98th minute Leopoldo Iban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cantona FC played a much better game than Espinillo AFC and deserved their victory. The Espinillo AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
