Felix Calvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hipolito Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Mambru might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Mero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romeo Mambru ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute Hipolito Domenec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Raebert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Felix Calvino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romeo Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Mero having to interfere. Hipolito Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jorge Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Boca Juniors's Felix Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Ledesma in the 38th minute of play. Timoteo Raebert scored 1-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Calvino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Mero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Domenec, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 46th minute, Camilo Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Domenec in the 48th minute of play forced Skorpions FC's goalkeeper Jorge Mero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Ledesma was the one to do the kick off. Hector Ramone's late challenge caught a El Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristo Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timoteo Raebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Calvino having to interfere. Felix Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Raebert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Ledesma in the 72nd minute of the match. Timoteo Raebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luis Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Emesto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Mero. Skorpions FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Skorpions FC's Blas Aguirre got a free kick in the 91st minute. Romeo Mambru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luis Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
