In the 27th minute Julian Gai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Vigil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rahuecó booed when Lavalle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Héctor Iriusta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo Ronaldinho during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Remigio Vigil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Benino in the 46th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Julian Gai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Remigio Vigil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Gai made the kick off in the second half. Halis Bengialp kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Julian Gai received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Remigio Vigil came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Gai slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 56th minute. With a little luck, Lavalle FC's Remigio Vigil got control of the ball when Ernesto Benino tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Julian Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute of the match, Ernesto Benino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Remigio Vigil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lavalle FC's Remigio Vigil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Lavalle FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Lavalle FC's Carmelo Bento got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute, Ernesto Benino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Vigil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. With 91 minutes on the clock, Halis Bengialp commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Halis Bengialp hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ernesto Benino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Remigio Vigil made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Rahuecó left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lavalle FC.
