The supporters of Amaicha del Valle booed when Chapelco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Abancens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amaicha del Valle's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Brion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Mosen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, Bartolo Paublo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chapelco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amaicha del Valle the free kick. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geronimo Mosen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mauricio Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Mosen having to interfere. Chapelco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amaicha del Valle the free kick. Anastasio Frances hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Chapelco's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Montay came free, but Geronimo Mosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Amaicha del Valle had played much better football throughout.
