IX Brigada's Freddy Rosalio got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bonifacio Argina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Indartsu in the 41st minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Justin to make the kick off. If Arnulfo Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. IX Brigada were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cangrejilla FC to leave the ground with a draw.
