Samuel Selmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Silvio Vergaray made a huge save. Ciriaco Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Marcos Gorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Tordos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Mancio came free, but Marcos Gorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Felix Gorka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Gorka got free with Silvio Vergaray in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blas Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Vergaray having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Olayo got free with Silvio Vergaray in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Emeterio to strike the kick off in the second half. Anier Ted lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 52nd minute, one of Tordos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tordos FC. Marcos Gorri had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Adrian Pero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Blas Emeterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tordos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Emeterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Gorka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Gorri having to interfere. After some careless play in the Rincón defense, Blas Emeterio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Vergaray. The Rincón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Vergaray should have stopped the shot. After 66 minutes, Generoso Anaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rincón and the Tordos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Rincón got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Anaya. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Olayo during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Blas Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Silvio Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Rincón got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Anaya.
