Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ramon Ioritz made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in LA VIA FC's zone, Christian Palos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Prejun came out of the goal and Christian Palos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, LA VIA FC's David Gaizko got a free kick in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Benjamin Alvarez could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Gervasio Obano however easily saved by the left post. Gervasio Obano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Selatse in the 10th minute of play. Gervasio Obano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Alvarez went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Haroldo Prejun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Palos in the 16th minute of play. Benjamin Alvarez took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Obano. Gervasio Obano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 28th minute Ramon Ioritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Dussaud got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Etor. Haroldo Prejun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Ioritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Delmar Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Ramon Ioritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Alvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match, Christian Palos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Haroldo Prejun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Haroldo Prejun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Ioritz in the 63rd minute of play. After 67 played minutes Dussaud got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Haritz. Gervasio Obano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Obano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Selatse, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Uriel Etor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Dussaud's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Selatse came free, but Gervasio Obano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, LA VIA FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Prejun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Palos. Angelino Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Alvarez in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Obano saved Dussaud from getting behind. After having played for 94 minutes, Uriel Selatse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA VIA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Selatse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Benjamin Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LA VIA FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
