LASPELOTAS's Edgardo Jeraldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save LASPELOTAS from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, LASPELOTAS's goalkeeper Edgardo Jeraldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Oxel. Edgardo Jeraldo was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Nicolas Ignado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolas Ignado really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Sklatenn F.C's Freddy Oxel got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorino Mark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Gaxan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. If Freddy Oxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Sklatenn F.C's Nicolas Ignado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Victorino Mark struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Santos Gaxan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LASPELOTAS.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Mark was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Ignado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Jeraldo was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Esteban Fernanco's late challenge caught a Sklatenn F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Fernanco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sklatenn F.C booed when LASPELOTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Cruz got free with Santos Gaxan in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sklatenn F.C's Feliberto Vincent got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Nicolas Ignado fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sklatenn F.C's protests and gave Nicolas Ignado a yellow card for diving instead. Victorino Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Gaxan having to interfere. Edgardo Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Oxel in the 72nd minute of play. Ladislao Cruz came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Santos Gaxan could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Sklatenn F.C's zone, Victorino Mark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Gaxan came out of the goal and Victorino Mark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes, Feliberto Vincent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sklatenn F.C and the LASPELOTAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Sklatenn F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Vincent to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Sklatenn F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
