Tiburcio Itzaina scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Remir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Remir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Itzaina in the 12th minute of play. Bartolo Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Remir having to interfere. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club 57's goalkeeper Alfredo Remir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florencio Luzaide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Jakes having to make a save.

After a rather tough play, Club 57's Florencio Luzaide got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Alfonso Orlondon fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 54th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. 61 minutes into the match, Club 57's Claudio Firme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Jakes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfredo Remir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Itzaina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Dionisio Eder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Felipe Jakes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo Remir didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. If Bartolo Xacintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Xacintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Alfredo Remir made a huge save. The ASO FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ASO FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
