The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Kenai F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Pelagius. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Guerau during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kenai F.C.'s Nereo Guerau got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Miguel Romelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Vachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Louis having to interfere. Gualterio Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes Kenai F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Vachon. Gregorio Louis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Vachon in the 27th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Kenai F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Giraldo came free, but Gualterio Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niupi FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Nereo Guerau scored to the left of an out of position Gregorio Louis, making the score, 1-0.

When Aquiles Giraldo got free in front of the goal in the 53rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gualterio Vergaray was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kenai F.C.'s Gualterio Vergaray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Kenai F.C. from getting a goal against them. Aquiles Giraldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Gualterio Vergaray made a huge save. Mauricio Ekaitz struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Gualterio Vergaray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niupi FC. In the 74th minute, Aquiles Giraldo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gualterio Vergaray. The goal made the score 1-1. Aquiles Giraldos short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Gualterio Vergaray to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aquiles Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Vergaray having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Niupi FC's Aquiles Giraldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Vergaray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 94 minutes into the match, Kenai F.C.'s goalkeeper Gualterio Vergaray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Giraldo. Niupi FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
