The audience was convinced that Aquiles Giraldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Cordara was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, 12 De Octubre F.C's Ovidio Galo got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Miguel Romelio came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Niupi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Romelio couldn't finish the play. Donato Nesor made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eduardo Garcia. Miguel Romelio struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ivan Cordara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niupi FC. Aquiles Giraldo took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Cordara. Ivan Cordara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 12 De Octubre F.C's Ivan Cordara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Giraldo in the 37th minute of play. Ivan Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Ekaitz in the 38th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Giraldo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ovidio Galo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 minutes of play, Niupi FC's Aquiles Giraldo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Cordara was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the match, 12 De Octubre F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Romelio came free, but Ivan Cordara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind 12 De Octubre F.C's goalkeeper Ivan Cordara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Arnau got free with Ivan Cordara in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Everardo Orlondo fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 12 De Octubre F.C's protests and gave Everardo Orlondo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Niupi FC booed when 12 De Octubre F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Orlondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Miguel Romelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niupi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Romelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaudencio Cordareo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Everardo Orlondo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Aquiles Giraldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ivan Cordara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aquiles Giraldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mauricio Ekaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Ovidio Galo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of 12 De Octubre F.C booed when Niupi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Urbasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Niupi FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 12 De Octubre F.C.
