The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Oihenarte got free with Hernan Nesto in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, Jonas Eliu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aristides Ekialde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hernan Nesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Oihenarte in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Eliu in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Ekialde saved Deportivo Racing club from getting behind. Faustino Magdaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Aristides Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Jose Iyan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hernan Nesto, passed just outside the right post. After 28 played minutes Haase got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Eguen. In the 30th minute, Haase's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jose Iyan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Iyan in the 32nd minute of play forced Haase's goalkeeper Hernan Nesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Eguen hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Pastor Oihenarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Jose Iyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernan Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Iyan in the 47th minute of play. The Deportivo Racing club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Haase were winning 0-1.

52 minutes into the match, Deportivo Racing club's Jose Iyan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Nesto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Oihenarte in the 54th minute of play forced Haase's goalkeeper Hernan Nesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Oihenarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Nesto having to interfere. When Emiliano Caradaro fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haase's protests and gave Emiliano Caradaro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Haase getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Emiliano Caradaro hit a great ball. Pastor Oihenarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Haase's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Iyan came free, but Hernan Nesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haase's Hernan Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Iyan in the 68th minute of play. If Faustino Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Lizbeth kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Aristides Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Eliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Deportivo Racing club's Aristides Ekialde got control of the ball when Faustino Magdaleno tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Faustino Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Haase's Aristides Ekialde threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonas Eliu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Haase eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
