Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) Victorino Rocendo made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Pastor Oihenarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolívar's Guillermo Celipe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute, Alfonso Horado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes Bolívar got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Jerano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Lorencio during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Racing club booed when Bolívar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Lorencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Iyan struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Guillermo Celipe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Racing club. Guillermo Celipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Iyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Rocendo in the 25th minute of play forced Deportivo Racing club's goalkeeper Aristides Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Victorino Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Ekialde made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Herminio Izotz sent off a good shot on target. Guillermo Celipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jose Iyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Celipe having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pastor Oihenarte in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Celipe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Herminio Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Iyan to strike the kick off in the second half. Pastor Oihenarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Guillermo Celipe made a huge save. Herminio Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aristides Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Racing club's Marco Emenon got a free kick in the 60th minute. Aristides Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Rocendo in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match, Eloy Urdin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guillermo Celipe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aristides Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Rocendo in the 66th minute of the match. Saverio Lizbeth charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Lizbeth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victorino Rocendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pastor Oihenarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Guillermo Celipe made a huge save. Jose Iyan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillermo Celipe having to make a save. Aristides Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Izotz in the 78th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Deportivo Racing club got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Urdin. Victorino Rocendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Aristides Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Iyan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillermo Celipe having to make a save. Victorino Rocendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Deportivo Racing club's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Horado came free, but Aristides Ekialde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herminio Izotz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Ekialde having to make a save. The Deportivo Racing club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
