Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Ivan Indalecio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Indalecio in the 3rd minute of play forced Deportivo Merlo's goalkeeper Roque Valerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Deportivo Merlo's goalkeeper Roque Valerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Feliu. In the 7th minute, Ezequiel Feliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Merlo's Roque Valerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Merlo from getting a goal against them. Ivan Indalecio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Roque Valerio 12 minutes into the match. Marciano Pio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Txartiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Mario Serapio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Deportivo Merlo's Cristobal Dacio in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cauchicol's goalie prevented a goal. Cristobal Dacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Txartiko in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Pio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gaspar Txartiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Merlo's zone, Ezequiel Feliu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Valerio came out of the goal and Ezequiel Feliu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Dacio in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Pio saved Cauchicol from getting behind. Roque Valerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Indalecio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes, Agustin Egun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Merlo and the Cauchicol players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roque Valerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Indalecio in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Cauchicol's Ivan Indalecio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roque Valerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Anacleto Eudoxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Pio having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Cristobal Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Merlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Dacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristobal Dacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roque Valerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Indalecio in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Merlo's zone, Ezequiel Feliu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Valerio came out of the goal and Ezequiel Feliu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Indalecio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Roque Valerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Valerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Feliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Gaspar Txartiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, Cauchicol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Quinten to maneuver through the defense.
