Caldao AFC's Fernan Balesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Ortzi in the 9th minute of play. Genaro Salomone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evaristo Rodas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Fausto Ortzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fernan Balesio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Caldao AFC's Genaro Salomone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Rodas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Sixto Bonifaco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caldao AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Bonifaco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Rodas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th match minute, De Querusa Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Santxol to maneuver through the defense. Evaristo Rodas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Genaro Salomone in the 28th minute. Genaro Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, De Querusa Futbol Club's Bartolo Ado got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute, Anier Henry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in De Querusa Futbol Club's zone, Genaro Salomone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Rodas came out of the goal and Genaro Salomone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 54th minute, Fausto Ortzi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fernan Balesio, passed just outside the right post. Evaristo Rodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Salomone, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Sixto Bonifaco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caldao AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Bonifaco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sixto Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Evaristo Rodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Fausto Ortzi took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Fernan Balesio to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched De Querusa Futbol Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
