Rafael Veto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo Lluis struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Edgard Aguirre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samuhi. Ladislao Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rafael Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute Armando Abarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Samuhi's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Hats came free, but Rafael Veto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Lluis in the 33rd minute of the match. Severino Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Aguirre having to interfere. Edgard Aguirre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Baraquiel in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rafael Veto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Abarca, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Samuhi's Gualterio Baraquiel got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualterio Baraquiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Edgard Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, San Martín de Wilde's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Baraquiel came free, but Edgard Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Abarca in the 86th minute of play forced Samuhi's goalkeeper Rafael Veto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Arturo Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samuhi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Lluis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Lluis in the 91st minute of play. Gualterio Baraquiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Aguirre having to interfere. There was no doubt that Samuhi were the better team. Samuhi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
