In the 6th match minute, Los Pibes Magos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Berdaitz to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Aaron Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Casado in the 19th minute of play forced Los Pibes Magos's goalkeeper Santiago Tavio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Tavio having to interfere. Los Pibes Magos's Santiago Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Casado in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Saverio Kimetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Los Pibes Magos defense, Aaron Casado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Tavio. The Los Pibes Magos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Tavio should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd match minute, COCODRILO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Kimetz to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes, Aaron Casado made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Los Pibes Magos's Santiago Tavio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Damario during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Pibes Magos! Wilfredo Lucila took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Tavio. Santiago Tavio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 40th minute, Wilfredo Lucila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Casado in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Pibes Magos's goalkeeper Santiago Tavio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Casado in the 45th minute of the match. When Jacinto Opilano fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored COCODRILO's protests and gave Jacinto Opilano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to COCODRILO getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jacinto Opilano hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Frances to make the kick off. Los Pibes Magos's Astor Kusko managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gaston Jordy in the 51 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Matei during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to COCODRILO getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Joaquin Matei hit a great ball. In the 57th minute of the match, Aaron Casado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santiago Tavio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 58 played minutes Los Pibes Magos got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Berdaitz. 61 minutes into the match, Los Pibes Magos's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Matei came free, but Santiago Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Wilfredo Lucila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The COCODRILO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 72 played minutes COCODRILO got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Lawrence. Santiago Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Matei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joaquin Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Los Pibes Magos's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Matei came free, but Santiago Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Casado had several of the Los Pibes Magos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Santiago Tavio as he didn't even see the shot coming. Aaron Casado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Santiago Tavio made a huge save. Santiago Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Matei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Casado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Santiago Tavio firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 93 minutes, Aaron Casado made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Los Pibes Magos's Santiago Tavio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded COCODRILO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Pibes Magos.
