Tiburcio Millrick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hilario Txomin went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Musko in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Millrick saved Deportivo Villa Paez from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Arnaldo Oliverio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiburcio Millrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Txomin in the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Musko in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Millrick saved Deportivo Villa Paez from getting behind. Natalio Mero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Geronimo Cordeara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Millrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Geronimo Cordeara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Morrillo booed when Deportivo Villa Paez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Balendin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

A nice corner shot did that Armando Guillen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tiburcio Millrick quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Tiburcio Millrick managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Morrillo's Arnaldo Musko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Geronimo Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geronimo Cordeara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Millrick having to interfere. Arnaldo Musko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Tiburcio Millrick when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 91st minute Tiburcio Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Marcones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Morrillo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Constantino Txordon hit a great ball. The Deportivo Villa Paez fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Morrillo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
