Justino Cordero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Morrillo's Arnaldo Musko in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Musko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Millonarios got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Arnas. Arnaldo Musko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Justino Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilario Txomin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justino Cordero having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Musko in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Cordero saved Millonarios from getting behind. If Hilario Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Cordero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Cordeara in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Millonarios's Eulalio Cordarrel got a free kick in the 70th minute. Hilario Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnaldo Musko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Justino Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Cordero having to interfere. Hilario Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Justino Cordero was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Geronimo Cordeara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Geronimo Cordeara really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. A hard shot by Armando Guillen from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Justino Cordero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Millonarios booed when Morrillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes, Millonarios's Felipe Galeno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teo Marcones came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Millonarios reached it. Justino Cordero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Musko in the 93rd minute of the match. If Hilario Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
