Spectators: 7256 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Chinguillos's Salvador Eliazar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Baldomero Gelmiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chinguillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tortugas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chinguillos's Baldomero Gelmiro got a free kick in the 7th minute. Romulo Cresitobalo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Salvador Eliazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Mederi having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Tortugas's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Eliazar came free, but Adolfo Mederi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ulises Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinguillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Lonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Mederi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 minutes of play, Tortugas's Romulo Cresitobalo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Frasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gogo Damario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Frasco stood somewhat misplaced when Gogo Damario came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. A collision led to Chinguillos getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nunez Jaizki hit a great ball. With a little luck, Chinguillos's Daniel Frasco got control of the ball when Gogo Damario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulises Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Eliazar took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Mederi. Adolfo Mederi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Cresitobalo got free with Daniel Frasco in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salvador Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Daniel Frasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Damario, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 58 played minutes Tortugas got a freekick which was hit by Armando Jokin. Adolfo Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Eliazar in the 60th minute of play. Gogo Damario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Frasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. If Romulo Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 68 minutes, Gogo Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tortugas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Damario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Mederi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ulises Lonzo sent off a good shot on target. When Ulises Lonzo came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Chinguillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Lonzo couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Tortugas's Adolfo Mederi got control of the ball when Ulises Lonzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Salvador Eliazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Mederi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Tortugas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Enmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Albano Rosio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tortugas's Adolfo Mederi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Eliazar in the 83rd minute of play. If Ulises Lonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Lonzo in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adolfo Mederi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nunez Jaizki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute of the match, Ulises Lonzo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adolfo Mederi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
