Ernesto Maju started the match with the kick off. F.C. Los Bybys's Luisito Rosario got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabricio Urdaspal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Rosario, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Ulizes got free with Iker Seme in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 played minutes F.C. Los Bybys got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Clis. Filiberto Pacorro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iker Seme. F.C. Los Bybys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luisito Rosario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fabricio Urdaspal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of F.C. Los Bybys booed when Bidon Mata Tiki Tiki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Roldanillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisito Rosario in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabricio Urdaspal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ernesto Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Luisito Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Los Bybys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Rosario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, F.C. Los Bybys's Desiderio Ieltxu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabricio Urdaspal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabricio Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Ieltxu in the 41st minute of the match. F.C. Los Bybys's Desiderio Ieltxu got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. F.C. Los Bybys's attack was well implemented in the 44th minute, but when Luisito Rosario was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Ulizes in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Seme saved F.C. Los Bybys from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Gregorio Nesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Bidon Mata Tiki Tiki's Jonatan Galo in action when he in the 56th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ernesto Maju's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Seme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Ulizes in the 61st minute of play forced F.C. Los Bybys's goalkeeper Iker Seme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes F.C. Los Bybys got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Evis. Tiburcio Ulizes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Iker Seme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Ulizes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Seme having to interfere. Iker Seme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Maju in the 71st minute of play. Bidon Mata Tiki Tiki's Fabricio Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Rosario in the 72nd minute of play. Iker Seme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Maju, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Tomás Evis struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Fabricio Urdaspal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Los Bybys.
