In the 26th minute, Alonzo Anaya reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruben Ruy. The goal made the score 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Zacarias Clis notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Lavalia's Guido Ferrando. Guido Ferrando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, one of Güemes FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Güemes FC. In the 44th match minute, Güemes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Quirce to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ruben Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alonzo Anaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gogo Favila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Ferrando having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Anaya in the 70th minute of play forced Güemes FC's goalkeeper Ruben Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Güemes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Anaya came free, but Ruben Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Guido Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lavalia getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Horacio Foro hit a great ball. Alonzo Anaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Ruy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Jonathan Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Ruy having to interfere.
