Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carolo Peter got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Placido Polo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bagual fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Carolo Peter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pedro Cortez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute Placido Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Faro defense, Carolo Peter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Cortez. The Faro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Cortez should have stopped the shot. If Placido Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Carolo Peter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Cortez was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carolo Peter in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Placido Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bagual's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Polo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Carolo Peter came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Bagual fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Peter couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

62 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Montez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bagual's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Faro the free kick. Reynaldo Montez hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Bagual got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Urtun. If Carolo Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Cortez made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Benigno Nuñez sent off a good shot on target. Ivan Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Bagual's Tirso Garmendia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Faro. Enrique Raulo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teddy Roche. Teddy Roche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Enrique Raulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Roche having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Pedro Cortez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 97th minute Enrique Raulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teddy Roche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Bagual could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Faro throughout the match.
