Severo Ugutz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Siro Marko made a huge save. Claypole's attentive Fernan Ascencio managed to snatch the ball when Martin Larra made a throw-in in the 6th minute of the game. A collision led to Leoni FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jeremias Beliran hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Diagur in the 21st minute of play forced Claypole's goalkeeper Andres Cilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Innocenzio might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Cilio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Innocenzio ran back to his position shaking his head. Severo Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Marko having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Matias Innocenzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Leoni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Pudes came free, but Siro Marko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Ugutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Innocenzio's late challenge caught a Claypole's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Innocenzio helped the player get up and apologised. Matias Innocenzio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Senin in the 45th minute of play forced Claypole's goalkeeper Andres Cilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Senin scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Cilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Matias Innocenzio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andres Cilio came out and tried to block the shot, but Matias Innocenzio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 57th minute. Claypole's Severo Ugutz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Matias Innocenzio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andres Cilio. Matias Innocenzio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 73rd match minute, Claypole was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Mero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andres Cilio. Claypole's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Serafino Diagur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Andres Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claypole's Andres Cilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Claypole from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Leoni FC's Andres Cilio threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alvaro Senin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 80th minute Alvaro Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Cilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leoni FC's Alvaro Senin in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Claypole's goalie prevented a goal. Andres Cilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Innocenzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Claypole booed when Leoni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Mero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leoni FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
