The referee gave Independiente a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valentin Raebert, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Luifa F.c.'s Rolando Primo. 1-0. Teodosio Panpili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Ishmael in the 30th minute of the match. Ignacio Leoncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Panpili having to interfere. A collision led to Luifa F.c. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Apolo Ilixo hit a great ball. Vicente Ishmael struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Independiente's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
