The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacob Rits during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Calmucó getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Uriel Panpili hit a great ball. Anibal Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Kismi in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Bermudo got free with Anibal Urdaspal in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Inguma in the 15th minute of play forced Tapa Huasi FC's goalkeeper Olaf Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Kismi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Urdaspal having to interfere. Santiago Inguma scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olaf Jerzyk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anibal Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Kismi in the 27th minute of play. With his leg Anibal Urdaspal managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Tapa Huasi FC's Fausto Kismi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 30th minute, Fausto Kismi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anibal Urdaspal. The goal made the score 1-2. 36 minutes into the match, Calmucó's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Kismi came free, but Anibal Urdaspal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Tapa Huasi FC's Teobaldo Bermudo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Urdaspal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olaf Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Leizarraga in the 41st minute of play. After 42 played minutes Tapa Huasi FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Esiquio. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Calmucó! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Leizarraga made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Kismi in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anibal Urdaspal saved Calmucó from getting behind. Tapa Huasi FC's Teobaldo Bermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olaf Jerzyk made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ariel Leizarraga sent off a good shot on target. If Fausto Kismi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tapa Huasi FC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Tapa Huasi FC's Fausto Kismi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Tapa Huasi FC's Olaf Jerzyk got control of the ball when Ariel Leizarraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Calmucó's Ariel Leizarraga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olaf Jerzyk. That made the score 3-3 after 71 minutes of play. Anibal Urdaspal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Kismi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Firmin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Fausto Kismi made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Calmucó's Anibal Urdaspal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Calmucó's zone, Teobaldo Bermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Urdaspal came out of the goal and Teobaldo Bermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anibal Urdaspal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Kismi's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes, Julio Iruinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapa Huasi FC and the Calmucó players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Iruinea hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Marcelo Peruanton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Sebastian Firmin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fausto Kismi might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Urdaspal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Kismi ran back to his position shaking his head. Tapa Huasi FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
