With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Beliran in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Azibar saved Buenos Aires from getting behind. Ceferino Beliran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Heriberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alfredo Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Ralondo in the 34th minute of the match. If Ceferino Beliran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hollywood's zone, Isaac Heriberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Pacifico came out of the goal and Isaac Heriberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd match minute, FC Hollywood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Bento to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Pacifico acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Isaac Heriberto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Orixe in the 65th minute of play forced Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Melchor Azibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Orixe might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melchor Azibar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimeno Orixe ran back to his position shaking his head. Melchor Azibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Beliran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Beliran in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melchor Azibar prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
