The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Eleuterio Castel sped through Siambón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raimundo Ishmael. After 10 played minutes Siambón got a freekick which was hit by Javier Bieito. The Avaí Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Avaí Futebol Clube's Eleuterio Castel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Vincent got free with Adrian Gumaro in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Siambón's Cirilo Bitxintxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Gumaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eleuterio Castel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Ishmael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Suarez in the 27th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Eleuterio Castel in the 28th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Fernan Igon made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Avaí Futebol Clube's Isidro Suarez. Raimundo Ishmael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Castel in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Avaí Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Adrian Gumaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Ladio. Cirilo Bitxintxo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Gumaro. Adrian Gumaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

The wind increased when Cirilo Bitxintxo made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Avaí Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Bitxintxo came free, but Adrian Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Gumaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Ladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Eleuterio Castel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Raimundo Ishmael made a huge save. 59 minutes into the game, Avaí Futebol Clube's Isidro Suarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Ishmael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Adrian Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Bitxintxo in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Siambón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Ladio to maneuver through the defense. Siambón's Raimundo Ishmael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Suarez in the 74th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Siambón's goalkeeper Raimundo Ishmael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Castel. When Cirilo Bitxintxo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Siambón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Bitxintxo couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Avaí Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Ladio came free, but Adrian Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Bitxintxo in the 86th minute of play forced Avaí Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Adrian Gumaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Victorino Oliviero came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Avaí Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Oliviero couldn't finish the play. Isidro Suarez struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Raimundo Ishmael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avaí Futebol Clube. Raimundo Ishmael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Castel in the 92nd minute. Avaí Futebol Clube's Isidro Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Avaí Futebol Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
