The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Silvanito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrian Gumaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Arnalt went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Luar in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Suarez saved Sportivo Capucha from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Sportivo Capucha's Adrian Gumaro threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benigno Silvanito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sportivo Capucha's Mauro Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Castel in the 95th minute of play. Avaí Futebol Clube's Alvaro Luar got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
