In the 8th minute, Ambrosio Tino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes Sambuca FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Conrao. Leopoldo Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Valentin Ostadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Pearson FC's Valentin Ostadar got control of the ball when Leopoldo Iyan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Pearson FC booed when Sambuca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pearson FC's Guido Gonzalez got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Cesaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Gonzalez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Gregory recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valentin Ostadar. Bonifacio Gregory showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the last second Valentin Ostadar throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bonifacio Gregory in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Iyan got free with Valentin Ostadar in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Gonzalez in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Gregory stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valentin Ostadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Iyan in the 58th minute of the match. Fabricio Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Cesaro having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Fabricio Primeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pearson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Primeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bonifacio Gregory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Ostadar having to interfere. If Bonifacio Gregory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 76 minutes, Leopoldo Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Julio Cesaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Ostadar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bonifacio Gregory's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Fabricio Primeiro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Bonifacio Gregory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute.
