Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bonifacio Gregory got the match started through his kick off. When Martínez's Javier Tadzio in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sambuca FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Sambuca FC defense, Gaston Cordarrel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Cesaro. The Sambuca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Cesaro should have stopped the shot. Julio Cesaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Abilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gaston Cordarrel struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Julio Cesaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martínez. Tadeo Bernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute of the match, Leopoldo Iyan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivan Ostargi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 26 minutes of play, Martínez's Gaston Cordarrel made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Cesaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sambuca FC's Julio Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Bernat in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gaston Cordarrel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martínez's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Cordarrel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Cesaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Ostargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Gregory, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 40th minute Gaston Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sambuca FC's Anselmo Patrido got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Abilio in the 42nd minute of play forced Sambuca FC's goalkeeper Julio Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Sambuca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Bernat came free, but Julio Cesaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Tadzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Cesaro having to interfere. The Sambuca FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Martínez were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Javier Tadzio made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Javier Tadzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martínez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Tadzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sambuca FC's Julio Cesaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Sambuca FC from getting a goal against them. Ivan Ostargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifacio Gregory scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Ostargi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Anselmo Patrido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Ostargi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Julio Cesaro was a little too slow when Javier Tadzio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 2-3. Javier Tadzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sambuca FC's Julio Cesaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sambuca FC from getting a goal against them. The Martínez fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Martínez's Tadeo Bernat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gaston Cordarrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Sambuca FC's goalkeeper Julio Cesaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Cordarrel. Martínez's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
