The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of DHARMA INIT booed when Olain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Gizon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes DHARMA INIT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ariel Leoncio who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ariel Leoncio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Domingos Eli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 17 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Garci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DHARMA INIT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olain FC the free kick. Clodoveo Garci hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Rafa Souto struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Domingos Eli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olain FC. In the 20th match minute, DHARMA INIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Romildo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rafa Souto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Eli was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Domingos Eli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Custódio in the 24th minute of the match. The referee ignored DHARMA INIT's protests and gave Camilo Pagomari a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Ariel Leoncio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingos Eli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Domingos Cresconio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Olain FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nelson Nogueira hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Cresconio got free with Hector Gelmiro in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Garci to strike the kick off in the second half. Olain FC's Eliseo Gizon got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DHARMA INIT's Emilio Egun got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Cresconio in the 62nd minute of play forced Olain FC's goalkeeper Hector Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
