Geronimo Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Gamus in the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Gamus in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geronimo Romo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geronimo Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Gamus in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Salvidor in the 13th minute of play forced Azul y Oro F.C's goalkeeper Geronimo Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Salvidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to Azul y Oro F.C getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Antonio Jacob hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Gamus was the one to do the kick off. In the 84th match minute, Azul y Oro F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Frisco to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, Azul y Oro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Gamus came free, but Geronimo Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Azul y Oro F.C were victorious despite being under pressure from River Plate for much of the match.
