Mauro Icardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Lalla in the 5th minute of play. Silvano Paskal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Garcia in the 7th minute of play. Cabashito's Silvano Paskal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Cabashito from getting a goal against them. Silvano Paskal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Rufio during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Aston Birra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Rufio to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Garcia in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvano Paskal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cabashito's Silvano Paskal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Cabashito from getting a goal against them. If Santo Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Barbosa got free with Silvano Paskal in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurelio Abella kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 37 minutes of play, Aston Birra's Teo Garcia made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvano Paskal was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Cabashito's Silvano Paskal got control of the ball when Filiberto Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Garcia made a kick off. Javier Ponciano hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Cabashito's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Garcia came free, but Silvano Paskal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Santo Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Basilio Steven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aston Birra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabashito the free kick. Basilio Steven kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Santo Basajaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Icardi having to interfere. Mauro Icardi was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Santo Basajaun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santo Basajaun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After having played for 80 minutes, Cleto Lalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabashito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Lalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basilio Steven was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Filiberto Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvio Bonifaco in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvano Paskal saved Cabashito from getting behind. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
