Carmelo Janpier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Serafo got free with Bartolo Ermengol in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute Ambrosio Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Claris might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carmelo Janpier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timoteo Claris ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the game, Portalis FC's Timoteo Claris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carmelo Janpier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Benjamesis FC's zone, Timoteo Claris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Janpier came out of the goal and Timoteo Claris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Portalis FC's Ambrosio Lander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carmelo Janpier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Erubiel Frantzes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benjamesis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portalis FC the free kick. After 42 played minutes Benjamesis FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Frantzes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Jordy in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmelo Janpier saved Benjamesis FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Benjamesis FC's zone, Nicasio Jordy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Janpier came out of the goal and Nicasio Jordy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Benjamesis FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Portalis FC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Ramiro Mundo made the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Lander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portalis FC's Timoteo Claris got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Benjamesis FC defense, Nicasio Jordy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Janpier. The Benjamesis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Janpier should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicasio Jordy in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmelo Janpier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Benjamesis FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Timoteo Claris fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bartolo Ermengol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Serafo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Timoteo Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ambrosio Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timoteo Claris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Carmelo Janpier made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Nicasio Jordy put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Carmelo Janpier. Portalis FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
