Matias Montel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Tajo went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Nestor Platon kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Platense's zone, Mario Tajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Montel came out of the goal and Mario Tajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 played minutes Club Atlético Platense got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Bertran. Fidel Ferman scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matias Montel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute Nestor Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eleven Mochas's Abrik Cerra got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Arsenio Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Eleven Mochas's Elbert Ottens got control of the ball when Arsenio Asier tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Abrik Cerra put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Eleven Mochas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atlético Platense:s goal. The referee gave Club Atlético Platense a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ambrosio Guillem, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eleven Mochas's Elbert Ottens. 1-3. Arsenio Asier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elbert Ottens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Maximiliano Inocente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elbert Ottens having to make a save. If Damaso Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Atlético Platense getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Arnoldo Lehoi hit a great ball. Club Atlético Platense's Matias Montel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Platense from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Nestor Platon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teobaldo Ekialde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Elbert Ottens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Eleven Mochas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atlético Platense.
