Mλpuכhes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Feo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Lixandro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Astor Dodorol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ricardo Danel made a huge save. If Adolfo Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Gaizkine hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Marcelino Abarca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Danel. Mλpuכhes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Julio Feo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ricardo Danel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Dodorol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Espiridion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Danel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Dodorol in the 68th minute of play. Ivan Azibar's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors M.E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Azibar helped the player get up and apologised. When Boca Juniors M.E.C's Adolfo Espiridion in 70 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ricardo Danel guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Astor Dodorol took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Danel. Ricardo Danel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 85th minute, Julio Feo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Mλpuכhes FC's Julio Feo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Lixandro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mλpuכhes FC's Ricardo Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Luzaide in the 95th minute of play. If Adolfo Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
