In the 7th minute, Arizona's Albano Feliu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ildefonso Abechuco. Ildefonso Abechuco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Lekubegi got free with Ildefonso Abechuco in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Honrio in the 12th minute of play forced Romero FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Henric to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Castel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Macerio in the 21st minute of play. Haroldo Demario might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Castel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haroldo Demario ran back to his position shaking his head. Silvestre Honrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Honrio got free with Ildefonso Abechuco in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 minutes, Haroldo Demario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romero FC and the Arizona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arizona's Silvestre Honrio got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 39 played minutes Romero FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Demario. With his leg Ildefonso Abechuco managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Arizona's Silvestre Honrio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 45 minutes into the match, Romero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Honrio came free, but Ildefonso Abechuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Demario to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Silvestre Honrio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arizona and the Romero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Arizona's Silvestre Honrio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 59 played minutes Arizona got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Lope. In the 62nd match minute, Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Lekubegi to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Santo Lekubegi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arizona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ildefonso Abechuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Honrio in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Romero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Honrio came free, but Ildefonso Abechuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Abechuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Lekubegi in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Santo Lekubegi made a precise shot to the right of Ildefonso Abechuco. Ildefonso Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Isauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Honrio got in the 97th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ildefonso Abechuco handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Romero FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
