Teobaldo Cugat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roque Llorian went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Baltasar Pacifico fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borghi's protests and gave Baltasar Pacifico a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Borghi got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Pacifico. Esteban Raitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Amancio Loi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Borghi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Sedeni to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Abreu hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Teobaldo Cugat made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Oscar Esdras sent off a good shot on target. Esteban Raitin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Roque Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Cugat having to interfere. If Benito Frederik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes of play, Ironmass's Benito Frederik made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Loi was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Benito Frederik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The supporters of Borghi booed when Ironmass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Raitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Sedeni got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Teobaldo Cugat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Esdras's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Oscar Esdras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Benito Frederik came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ironmass fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Frederik couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Frederik in the 76th minute of play forced Borghi's goalkeeper Amancio Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Quilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Oscar Esdras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borghi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Oscar Esdras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
