It was Dario Frichoso who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Foos FC's goalie and right to Aquiles Franco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Foos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Spurs United's Victoriano Jaume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Felipo in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Spurs United getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Erubiel Fresco hit a great ball. Teo Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Victoriano Jaume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teo Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Feos short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Nestor Ramalho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Victoriano Jaume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Gutierrez in the 40th minute of the match.
