Teo Loramendi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Fausto Joey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Loramendi was the one to do the kick off. Teo Loramendi charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Loramendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 54 minutes, Teo Loramendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundblad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Loramendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Sundblad's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Vidal came free, but Epifanio Huly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. central norte's Fausto Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Sabino in the 62nd minute of play. Fausto Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Loramendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Wilfredo Sabino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teo Loramendi took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Joey. Fausto Joey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Sundblad's Teodoro Handi was substituted for Sixto Gabirel. 79 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Sabino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Joey. central norte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Sabino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Teo Loramendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Loramendi struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Fausto Joey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sundblad.
