DE LEON FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Cordario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute, Isidoro Manny made a precise shot to the right of Joel Lop. DE LEON FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Joel Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Manny in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes DE LEON FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Matro. 18 minutes into the match, Isidoro Manny notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of DE LEON FC's Joel Lop. Joel Lop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Isidoro Manny put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Joel Lop. Edgard Cordario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Joel Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Matro's late challenge caught a Alter Ego's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Matro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alter Ego booed when DE LEON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Matro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Maties took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Lop. DE LEON FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joel Lop stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Manny's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. If Edgard Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute of the match Jairo Maties sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Lop skillfully saved the ball. In the 47th minute, Teofilo Abechuco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Edgard Cordario made the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, DE LEON FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Cordario came free, but Joel Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DE LEON FC's Fermin Osorio got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Fermin Osorio off the ground. Fermin Osorio hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Isidoro Manny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alter Ego's goalkeeper Gustavo Betadur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Justo Cesaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute Leopoldo Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Cordario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes DE LEON FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Matro. Isidoro Manny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Lop read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Alter Ego's Edgard Cordario got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 minutes, Amadeo Demario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DE LEON FC and the Alter Ego players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DE LEON FC! Jairo Maties shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Isidoro Manny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Joel Lop made a huge save.
