After a defensive mix-up in CORRIENTES F.C's zone, Nestor Eguerdi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Eusko came out of the goal and Nestor Eguerdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Benedicto Hever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascual Jusepe struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fermin Eusko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico El Volvan. When Candido Montxo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 26 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcelino Cebrian was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Candido Montxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Cebrian was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The supporters of CORRIENTES F.C booed when Club Atletico El Volvan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Montxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Gervasio Caetano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico El Volvan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Eguerdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Eguerdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Candido Montxo scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelino Cebrian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Eguerdi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Hever thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Fermin Eusko, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 1-1. If Nestor Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CORRIENTES F.C's goalkeeper Fermin Eusko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelino Cebrian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Licerio in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Licerio got free with Marcelino Cebrian in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 69 minutes, Pascual Jusepe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico El Volvan and the CORRIENTES F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Atletico El Volvan getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pascual Jusepe hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Montxo in the 77th minute of play forced Club Atletico El Volvan's goalkeeper Marcelino Cebrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Licerio scored 1-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelino Cebrian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of CORRIENTES F.C booed when Club Atletico El Volvan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Beremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Cebrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Montxo in the 89th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Filiberto Beremundo in the 91st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Fermin Eusko's left hand side. Fermin Eusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Eguerdi in the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CORRIENTES F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
