Viamonte's Astor Oriche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Ignatius in the 9th minute of play. If Benicio Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th play minute Norberto Domenec came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Astor Oriche. 1-0. Vinicio Ignatius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Astor Oriche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Ignatius, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Norberto Domenec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Astor Oriche made a huge save. A collision led to Viamonte getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Teofilo Lon hit a great ball. After 43 minutes of play, Estudiantes de Caseros's Norberto Domenec made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Astor Oriche was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cosme Leizarraga came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Viamonte's Everardo Mingo. But to his dismay, Everardo Mingo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinicio Ignatius to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Vinicio Ignatius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viamonte's Astor Oriche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Domingos Bartoli put in a rough tackle. In the 65th minute Vinicio Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Oriche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Frisco charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Candido Frisco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Estudiantes de Caseros got a freekick which was hit by Candido Frisco. Benicio Francesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Leizarraga having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Estudiantes de Caseros got a freekick which was hit by Placido Gorbea. Benicio Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benicio Francesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Cosme Leizarraga made a huge save. Benicio Francesco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cosme Leizarraga came out and tried to block the shot, but Benicio Francesco slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 73rd minute. Astor Oriche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Ignatius, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The supporters of Estudiantes de Caseros booed when Viamonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Ostots didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Vinicio Ignatius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Norberto Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Ostots charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Ostots the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Ignatius in the 98th minute of play forced Viamonte's goalkeeper Astor Oriche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 102nd minute Vinicio Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Oriche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estudiantes de Caseros's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
