In the 13th minute Saverio Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Ourente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicasio Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Zipevah F. E. booed when Independencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Independencia's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Luar came free, but Maximiliano Ourente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Maximiliano Ourente managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Zipevah F. E.'s Nicasio Beltran fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saverio Luar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Independencia's goalkeeper Maximiliano Ourente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Beltran. In the 39th minute, Feliberto Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Saverio Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Ourente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saverio Luar made a kick off. When Saverio Luar came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Zipevah F. E. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Luar couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Luar in the 58th minute of play forced Independencia's goalkeeper Maximiliano Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Independencia's Maximiliano Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Beltran in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, one of Independencia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Independencia. Constantino Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Arturo Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Zipevah F. E. got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Ubelteso. After 76 minutes, Nicasio Beltran made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Independencia's Maximiliano Ourente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saverio Luar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximiliano Ourente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Beltran in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicasio Beltran in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Ourente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximiliano Ourente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Luar, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The audience was convinced that Saverio Luar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Ourente was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Maximiliano Ourente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 97th play minutes Nicasio Beltran shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Maximiliano Ourente and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zipevah F. E. had won after a very even match.
