NEGRO F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Medero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of NEGRO F.C. booed when Mirasol F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Ebardo, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 36th minute, Mirasol F.C's Prudencio Pueblo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leo Juvenal. Leo Juvenal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 45th minute, Hipolito Endira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prudencio Pueblo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leo Juvenal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, Mirasol F.C's Prudencio Pueblo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Juvenal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Raimundo Ricart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Juvenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Raimundo Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mirasol F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Ricart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Juvenal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Juvenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Pueblo in the 71st minute of the match. After some careless play in the NEGRO F.C. defense, Prudencio Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Juvenal. The NEGRO F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Juvenal should have stopped the shot. After having played for 79 minutes, Fabio Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirasol F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. NEGRO F.C.'s Victor Faro got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Juvenal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Ricart went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Prudencio Pueblo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Juvenal. NEGRO F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Pueblo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Prudencio Pueblo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in NEGRO F.C.'s zone, Prudencio Pueblo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Juvenal came out of the goal and Prudencio Pueblo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, NEGRO F.C.'s Artemio Udalaitz got a free kick in the 97th minute.
