After a rather tough play, Fassi's Oscar Indartsu got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Hipolito Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arequito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Gonsalve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Prejun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvestre Mincho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Prudencio Prejun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Silvestre Mincho came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Arequito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Mincho couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Silvestre Mincho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fassi's Prudencio Prejun. Prudencio Prejun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Nayely was the one to do the kick off. Hipolito Gonsalve hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Emanuel Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Prudencio Prejun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Mincho in the 65th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Faustino Nayely notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Arequito FC's Emanuel Belmiro. After a defensive mix-up in Arequito FC's zone, Hugo Tulio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Belmiro came out of the goal and Hugo Tulio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute Faustino Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fassi getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nemesio Danel hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Virgilio Herena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arequito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Herena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Prudencio Prejun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fassi had won after a very even match.
