Santos Timo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Gilberto Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Lando having to interfere. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Banfield! The goalkeeper, Cipriano Lando, was totally fooled by SKY FC's Leonardo Cloyo, who 11 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of SKY FC booed when Banfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Raymundo in the 17th minute of play forced SKY FC's goalkeeper Christian Hats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Banfield defense, Gilberto Orkatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Lando. The Banfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Lando should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipolito Beltza in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Hats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 3-0 became the score in the 25th minute when Gilberto Orkatz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cipriano Lando was a little too slow when Gilberto Orkatz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 5-0. The nice shot from Leonardo Cloyo in the 35thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Cipriano Lando had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 38th minute, Banfield's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leonardo Cloyo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in SKY FC's zone, Santos Timo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Hats came out of the goal and Santos Timo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes SKY FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Cesario. Cipriano Lando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Orkatz in the 45th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Orkatz in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Lando saved Banfield from getting behind. With splendid footwork Gilberto Orkatz arrived in front of goal to shoot 6-0 by the left pole in the game's 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Timo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Orkatz in the 56th minute of play forced Banfield's goalkeeper Cipriano Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute SKY FC were awarded a corner. Leonardo Cloyo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Aaron Ibañez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Banfield's Cipriano Lando did a great save. SKY FC's Gilberto Orkatz got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Banfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Beltza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Orkatz in the 61st minute of play forced Banfield's goalkeeper Cipriano Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Constantino Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Lando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Orkatz in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Gilberto Orkatz made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Banfield's Cipriano Lando tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonardo Cloyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Lando having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Orkatz in the 74th minute of play forced Banfield's goalkeeper Cipriano Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Lando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Orkatz in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Henrico in the 79th minute of play forced Banfield's goalkeeper Cipriano Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Henrico during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Constantino Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aaron Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cipriano Lando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Orkatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Banfield's goalkeeper Cipriano Lando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 99th minute, Gilberto Orkatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 99th play minutes Leonardo Cloyo shot 10-0, a short shot which went by Cipriano Lando and just under the crossbar into goal. SKY FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
